The Curriculum Standards Toolkit allow you to Define and Upload a library of Curriculum Standards and assign those standards to documents within a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Site.
The Curriculum Standards tools consist of three primary components:
I. SQL Database to persist the Curriculum Standards and their assignment.
II. "Curriculum Standard Loader" which is a stand-alone web site which supports the loading of a set of Curriculum Standards to the SQL database. The Curriculum Standards definitions are supplied to the loader in the form of an XML document. An Excel Spreadsheet is provided as a simple mechanism for creating standards definitions. The spreadsheet also contains simple code to export the Excel Spreadsheet to the XML format required by the Upload component. This spreadsheet NAT_COMPILED.XLS contains a set of sample data.
III. "Curriculum Standards Assignment" is a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server web part that supports the assignment of a Curriculum Standard to any document stored within a SharePoint 2007 site. This component is activated on a site by site basis as a Site Feature.
