HunterStone Announces its “Librarian ContentZone Offering”

London, UK —  (PR.com)-- From the BETT09 Show in London, UK. HunterStone announced the development of their “THESIS Librarian ContentZone" as a function rich content repository. Contentzone was developed as the powerful Microsoft Office SharePoint Server content management and repository for educational material. Building on the THESIS Librarian solution, ContentZone enables schools and educators to develop rich curriculum based content using the familiar Microsoft Office as well as SharePoint, in addition to hosting content from many other sources; purchased or custom. “The combination of the THESIS products and the integration of the Curriculum Standards toolkit has enabled us to develop a solid SharePoint based solution for education that enables teachers to find, share and work together on valuable resources in their VLE’s with easy simple to use tools” said Neil Richards, President & CEO of HunterStone.

Additionally, Microsoft's Education Product Group licensed a portion of THESIS technology for use in its Learning Essentials Program and provides Microsoft Academic Customers the ability to author SCORM content with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 

HunterStone's THESIS is a suite of eLearning tools which adheres to the SCORM specifications and integrates with Microsoft Office. This enables a user to author eLearning resources and objects straight from familiar Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Producer. The THESIS "Learning Object Manager" allows a user to author complile SCORM courses and quizzes for online instruction, using multiple learning objects from different sources. THESIS Librarian "SCORM enables" Microsoft SharePoint to create Learning Object Repositories where subject matter experts can collaborate on course development and also use the tool as a meta-data manager.
